Ron Shuebrook: Untitled

Ron Shuebrook completed these large, black and white paintings in 1976, while he was living in Canning, Nova Scotia, and teaching art history at Acadia University. Although his work builds on the formalist principles of American Late Modernism, Shuebrook is often inspired by specific places and events.
