Audrey Nicoll

Audrey Nicoll is a painter who makes her practice in Chester Basin. She received her BFA (1985) and BEd (1991) from the University of British Columbia. She has been a practicing artist, Fine Arts Department Head, Art Educator and Chair of the Board of the AT8 Artropolis Society during her tenure in Vancouver, and has joined the Board of eyelevel gallery since moving to Nova Scotia. Her recent move from the West Coast allows her to focus more intensely on her painting practice. Her most recent body of work addresses the socio-political aspects of the vegetable garden as a symbol of privilege.
