Flounces and bustles are paired with codpieces, shoe leather with Opening Reception Meet the artist and her wildly attired WORKSHOPS Workshop # 1: Leather Rose Making. Turn discarded leather scraps into gorgeous decorative flowers. These colourful flowers can be converted into brooches or shoe accessories with the addition of a safety pin/clip— perfect for holiday gift-giving. Materials provided. Saturday, 16 November, 13:30 to 15:30. Limit 10 participants. Sign up by Thursday 14 November. Workshop #2: Costume Collage. Participants will creatively transform half-finished jackets provided by the artist, using salvaged materials such as cloth, leather, wires, twigs, bottle caps and so on. Attachment techniques will include hand sewing, pinning, tying and gluing. Bring any scrap materials that you have hanging around to incorporate into these outrageous garments.
