Joanne K. Jefferson
Joanne Jefferson grew up in Halifax and now lives with her partner and their two sons in West LaHave, Nova Scotia. She received her BA from Acadia University and an MA from Dalhousie. Her radio documentary, Alice’s Diaries, was broadcast on CBC’s Out Front in 2002 and her short story, "Finding Mother," is anthologized in Outskirts: Women Writing From Small Places, Sumach Press, 2002. As a regular contributor to Visual Arts News, Joanne has been inspired by the work of Nova Scotian artists. She is currently working on a collection of poems.
