Christine Overall

Dr. Christine Overall is regarded as a pioneer in the field of feminist philosophy. She is widely respected not only for her groundbreaking contributions to bioethics, philosophy of religion, and feminism and sexuality, but also for her demonstrated excellence in teaching and university administration, and her role as a public intellectual. Dr. Overall is the tenth appointment to Nancy’s Chair in Women’s Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University. Her latest book, Aging, Death, and Human Longevity: A Philosophical Inquiry, was published in 2003.
