Peter Schwenger

Dr. Peter Schwenger teaches in the MSVU Department of English. He has published several articles concerning aesthetics, gender and textuality in Critical Inquiry, among other scholarly journals. His book-length study on art and other objects, The Tears of Things: Melancholy and Physical Objects (University of Minnesota Press), was published in 2006. Dr. Schwenger has contributed an essay entitled The Desiring to the George Steeves Photographs exhibition catalogue.
