Diane Castonguay RosatiRosati’s art studies include a stint at the Art Students League, New York City. She lives and works in Port L’Hebert on the South Shore. Her principal media are printmaking and pastels, and she is inspired by walking and sailing the shores of Nova Scotia. Her work has appeared in exhibitions at Acadia University Art Gallery; St. F-X University Art Gallery; Lever House, NYC and Krasedale Art Gallery, New York. She has served on the boards of professional organziations including: the Salmagundi Club, The Pastel Society of America, The Pen & Brush, Inc. , and the Shelburne Arts Council, Nova Scotia. She is a former curator of the Osprey Art Center in Shelburne. Rosati has taught monoprint workshops at venues in the eastern US and printmaking workshops at the Yarmouth Art Centre and Mahone Bay Printshop in Nova Scotia. She teaches pastel and printmaking classes in Shelburne and Yarmouth Counties, plus classes at her Tilly’s Head Studio. She is represented by At The Sign of The Whale Art Gallery, Yarmouth, the ADJA Gallery, Liverpool, and the Arts Sales and Rental Gallery, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Halifax. |
